In the morning it was very cold considering the time of year especially in Primorska region. In Čepovan it cooled down to -5.3 °C, in Šmarje pri Sežani and in Vipolže in Goriška brda -4.0 °C was measured, in Nova Gorica -2.5 and in Dragonja -0.9 °C.

In many places above 1000 m a.s.l unusually deep snow cover was measured in the morning. On Kredarica (2514 m) snow depth reached 187 cm, at Dom na Komni (1520 m) 49 cm was measured, on Kum (1218 m) and in Podolševa in Koroška region (1247 m) 40 cm, in Zgornje Poljane in Notranjska region (1030 m) 30 cm and in Nova vas on Bloke plateau (722 m) 12 cm.

2014 –

A major part of Slovenia received abundant rainfall during the previous night, at some places intense downpours occured. Especially Ljubljana and Polhograjsko hribovje region received an extremely high amount of rain. In Boršt near Gorenja vas 170 mm and in Ljubljana (Bežigrad) 100 mm fell in a good three hours. Daily precipitation amount reached 181 mm in Topol pri Medvodah, 176 mm in Žiri, 161 mm in Lokve and 133 mm in Poljane near Škofja Loka.
