Especially the observers at meteorological stations in south and southwestern Slovenia measured very high, in some places record high daily amount of precipitation for July. In Zabiče near Ilirska Bistrica 187 mm of rain had fallen till 7 a.m. in the previous 24 hours, in Gomance south of Snežnik mountain 172 mm, in Kubed 148 mm, in Babno Polje 132 mm and in Kozina 123 mm.

After the snowfall on Kredarica (2514 m) 19 cm deep snow cover was measured in the morning.

In the late-afternoon and evening severe weather with torrential downpours and large hail devastated areas between Kranj and Litija. In Domžale and its vicinity the largest hailstones measured around 10 cm in diameter.
