Monthly, annual and periodic groundwater level data

Tables in the form of Excel files contain monthly, annual and periodic data of groundwater levels for monitoring sites where daily measurements were made at wells and piezometers. The distribution of the tables follows the extensive, highly or moderate productive alluvial aquifers in 27 geographical areas of Slovenia. Each file contains sheets with groundwater level data at a given monitoring site with its characteristically monthly, annual and periodic values.

Mean monthly values are obtained from the hydrological database. In case you notice any kind of incorrect or problematic value, please notify us on email: gp.arso@gov.si with subject for hydrological groundwater statistics. The sent messages will be checked and corrected as soon as possible. We thank you in advance for all the notifications that will help us improve our hydrological database.

Hnk - the lowest monthly, annual, or periodic groundwater level values - extreme

Hnp - the lowest monthly, annual, or periodic groundwater level values - daily average

Hs - mean monthly, annual, or periodic groundwater level values

Hvp - the highest monthly, annual, or periodic groundwater level values - daily average

Hvk - the highest monthly, annual, or periodic groundwater level values – extreme

A - the difference between the highest and lowest groundwater level value in a month, year or period (amplitude)

N - number of data in month, year or period
