Interesting weather events on June 26
1965 –	In most of Slovenia it was the hottest day of summer 1965 and one of the hottest days in June after 1950. In Ljubljana and Celje it warmed up to 34.7 °C, in Tolmin, Branik in Vipava valley and in Novo mesto 34.0 °C was measured and in Radovljica and in Gornji Grad 33.2 °C.
2006 –	Especially in the southeastern part of Slovenia it was a very hot day. In Bizeljsko the mercury rose to 36.0 °C, in Metlika it warmed up to 35.8 °C, in Dobliče near Črnomelj up to 35.2 °C, in Ljubljana up to 34.5 °C and in Novo mesto up to 34.4 °C.
